Entdecke im HSB Simulator das längste schmalspurige Streckennetz Europas, bestehend aus der Harzquerbahn, quer über den Harz; der Brockenbahn, hinauf bis auf 1.125 Meter über dem Meer; und der idyllischen und verträumten Selketalbahn im Osten des Harzes. Auch die in Nordhausen an das Netz angeschlossene Straßenbahnlinie 10 ist enthalten.
With the HSB Simulator you discover the longest narrow-gauge route network in Europe, consisting of the three lines „Trans-Harz Railway“ right across the Harz Mountains, the „Brocken Railway“ up to 1.125m above sealevel and the idyllic and dreamed „Selke Valley Railway“ in the east of the mountains. Also the tram line 10 in the city of Nordhausen is included.
Über 700 nachgebildete Sehenswürdigkeiten des Harzes und ein Gelände generiert aus Daten der NASA verleihen dem HSB Simulator auf einer Fläche von 1.600 Quadratkilometern enormen Wiedererkennungswert. Dazu wurde eine Menge Zeit und Herzblut investiert.
Over 700 recreated sights of the Harz Mountains and a terrain generated from NASA data give the HSB Simulator an enormous recognition value over a total area of 1.600 square kilometers. You can’t imagine the crazy amount of work and heart, but sure you’ll love it.
Berühmt sind die Harzer Schmalspurbahnen vor allem für den noch planmäßigen Einsatz ihrer 25 historsichen Dampflokomotiven. Nirgendwo sonst auf der Welt gibt es noch täglichen Dampflokbetrieb in dieser Dimmension. Das umfangreiche Fahrzeugpaket zum HSB Simulator bildet den Fuhrpark vollständig ab.
The Harz Narrow Gauge Railways are famous above all for the scheduled use of their 25 historic steam locomotives. Nowhere else in the world is there still daily steam locomotive operation in this dimension. The extensive rolling stock package included in the HSB Simulator contains the whole fleet.
Enthalten sind 30 abwechslungsreiche Missionen jeweils in deutscher und englischer Sprache, welche die Vielfalt der Harzer Schmalspurbahnen eindrücklich verdeutlichen; vom Massentourismus zum Brocken über die Bimmelbahn-Stimmung im Selketal bis zum Nah- und Güterverkehr im Südharz; nicht zu vergessen die Sonderzüge wie etwa der Hexenexpress zur Walpurgisnacht. Auch wechselndes Wetter, Rangiermanöver, Ereignisse entlang der Strecke und viele Gegenzüge sorgen für hohes Spielvergnügen.
The HSB Simulator includes 30 varied missons in German and English, to show you everything significant. Experience the mass tourism to Mount Brocken, the little trains in the Selke Valley or the local and freight traffic in the southern Harz Mountains. Or celebrate on decorated special trains typical festivals of the region, like the „Witch Express“ on the occasion of Walpurgis Night. Also changing weather conditions, shunting manoeuvres, events along the route and the oncoming traffic ensure a high level of gaming fun.
Der HSB Simulator läuft flüssig auf allen Windows-PCs ab Windows 7, einschließlich Windows 11. Er funktioniert nicht auf Windows XBox, Windows Phone oder Nicht-Windows-Plattformen. Um dass Add-On zu betreiben, benötigst Du als Basis den kostenlosen Zugsimulator Open Rails (Stable Version 1.4).
HSB Simulator works well on all Windows PCs from Windows 7 onwards, including Windows 11. It does not work on Windows XBox, Windows Phone or non-Windows platforms. To run the Add-On of the Harz Narrow Gauge Railways you need the freeware train simulator Open Rails (Stable Version 1.4) as engine.
Mit Open Rails als leistungsstarke Engine lässt sich der virtuelle Harz sogar im Mehrspielermodus erfahren. Stell Dir vor, je auf einer Lok gemeinsam den ehrwürdigen Traditionszug zum Brocken hinauf zu befördern. With Open Rails as a powerful engine, the virtual Harz can even be experienced in multiplayer mode. Imagine, you can control the venerable traditional train to the Brocken together with a second person, everyone on one own locomotive. Das gesamte Equipment, wie Szenerieobjekte, Texturen, Fahrzeuge und Sounds sind kostenfreie Freeware. Damit und mit einem Editor wie dem kostenfreien TSRE kannst Du sogar Dein eigenes Streckenprojekt verwirklichen oder den HSB Simulator nach Belieben umgestalten.
Make it on your own! All equipment of the HSB Simulator, such as scenery objects, textures, trains and sounds are freeware. With this equipment and a freeware track editor tool like TSRE, you can also realize your own route project or redesign the world of HSB Simulator as you wish.
Der Zugverkehr im HSB Simulator basiert auf einem authentischen Fahrplan. Neben den Aufgaben kann im Fahrplan-Modus daraus jeder beliebige Zug gewählt und gefahren werden, entweder selbst als Lokführer oder einfach nur als Fahrgast. Weil ein kompletter Tagesablauf programmiert wurde, an dessen Ende alle Fahrzeuge wieder auf ihrer Ausgangsposition stehen, kann in der Rolle des frei über die Karte beweglichen Trainspotters auch einfach nur der Bahnbetrieb beobachtet werden.
The traffic in the HSB Simulator is based on an authentic timetable. In addition to the activities, any train can be selected and driven in timetable mode, either as a train driver or simply as a passenger. Because a complete daily routine is programmed, with all vehicles back on their starting position at the end of day, the free across the map movable trainspotter can also simply observe the train operations. Observe also emerging delays, shunting services and fluctuating passenger volumes on the trains.
